Shannan started CrossFit in 2013 after many years as an endurance athlete and coach. She has competed in everything from marathons to Ironman triathlons and ultra runs. Years of running can be tough on the body and Shannan fell in love with CrossFit as a way to build strength and change up training. She has a passion for working with endurance athletes, and helping people from all walks of life to be their best! Shannan now competes in Olympic Weightlifting at the Masters level and still gets some running in here and there. After 6+ years with the YMCA and as a Coach at Adamant, Shannan became the owner in 2016. She is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Endurance Trainer, NASM certified Personal Trainer, USAW Level 1 Coach and Eat to Perform Nutrition Coach.

Damon played college Football at BCCC and Western Illinois University and graduated with a bachelors of science in education specializing in biology and health. He’s coached high school football for a total of 9 year between Olathe South, Blue Valley Northwest and Center. He’s now an avid CrossFitter and loves to push people to the next level.

Chris has been involved in sport since high school playing Football, Basketball and Track. He’s now an Athletic Trainer for Ottawa University that assists athletes by getting prepped for games, handling injuries, and rehabilitation. He enjoys the strength and condition aspect of training and is always looking for the next physical challenge.

Lauren has been racing harescrambles (off-road dirt bike racing) since she was in elementary school. Recently, Lauren won her class during the 2014-2015 season. Lauren began CrossFit to enhance her racing endurance and strength and now she has become an avid CrossFitter. She also teaches students with special needs in the Blue Valley school district.

Stak’s foray into athletics began at age three when his mom signed him up for T-ball. Little did he know that would lead to Football, Basketball, Cross-Country and Baseball. Later he wound up at Benedictine College where he played Baseball and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees. After college, it would take another six years and thousands of miles pounding the pavement and swimming laps before he found CrossFit and never looked back.

Madison has had a passion for fitness and competition most of her life. She excelled in gymnastics and diving in high school at Olathe East. She attended the University of Arkansas on a diving scholarship and in 2008 she earned the title of All-American. For the past 6 years Madison has focused on helping others improve their health. She desires to help make you become a better YOU. She competes as an Elite Crossfit Athlete and has attended Regionals as an individual in 2013, and with her team in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Madison also has a passion for Jesus, family, her dogs and coffee!

Austin has been a competitive weightlifter since he was 15 has and trained in multiple formats including CrossFit, powerlifting, and Olympic lifting. He played multiple sports at the college level including wrestling and football and also played professional football in the arena league. He has competed in CrossFit and Olympic Lifting having placed at Collegiate Nationals.

Sam started in 2012 as a Personal trainer, also coaching and teaching group exercise. Sam has experience with various forms of strength training, gymnastics, injury prevention, mobility and rehab. Sam spent 14 years skateboarding, snowboarding and in martial arts. He has a diverse range of experiences and a passion for helping people to move well.
